The 7th Annual Patriot's Breakfast & Charity Banquet - Planning Committee is in full swing.

The Leadership Bible Institute (Estab. 1996) is presently training aspiring ministers, pastors, and sitting pastors in leadership principles who are ready to take their ministries to the next level and to provide training for launching new ministries. For applicants accepted into the program (1 yr. - 18 months), No tuition is charged.

THE FCCI STORY ... Ralph & Deborah Pacheco's Personal Pilgrimage

Deborah & Ralph Pacheco have been a ministry couple for over 25 years. Ralph started as a lay youth minister as a young man 30 years ago (1979). Deborah has her roots in the Catholic Charismatic Movement of the early 1970's at St. Gregory's Church in South Whittier and St. Hillary's Church in Pico Rivera. It was during this period that the Lord first began to gift Deborah in the prophetic ministry.

Ralph was saved during the "Jesus Movement" in the Summer of 1973.

During the mid-1980's they both discovered the Vineyard Movement with John Wimber and were on staff with Vineyard starting in 1987. They both worked on staff while Ralph was preparing for the pastorate in the Vineyard Bible Institute (1987-1989).

They were launched out from the Mama Church (Anaheim Vineyard) in 1989. They have been church planters and used by the Lord in the healing & deliverance ministry. They established (planted) the Living Stone Christian Fellowship in 1993, the Leadership Bible Institute (1996), and their present ministry First Christian Church International (FCCI) in 2002. Recently they founded their dream faith based entity; the Leadership Capacity (LC) Foundation in 2008.

In 1996, Ralph accepted a position as the Pastor of Church Development and Resources for Regency Christian Center International (RCCI) Dr. Jason & Cathy Guerrero. During his tenure with them the church experienced tremendous growth. The church virtually tripled in size in three years. During Ralph's work at RCCI he was also adjunct professor of Biblical studies at Regency Bible College (1996-2003). He also worked on his certification & graduate studies as a Pastoral Christian Counselor and performed his practicum (1,500 hours of counseling) through the RCCI Christian Counseling Center, Pastor Cathy Guerrero, M.T.S., Director of the Counseling Center.

Ralph was awarded his Doctorate in Divinity from Vision University in 1997. He has served as the President of the Leadership Bible Institute since 2008 and serves as Director of the FCCI Christian Counseling Center (By appointment on Wednesdays).

FCCI has been active in a variety of ministry projects and programs since its inception in 2002. I.e., (1.) Whittier Prayer Summit (past 12 years), (2.) Co-Founder, Whittier Area Evangelical Ministerial Alliance (WAEMA), (3.) WAEMA Resurrection Sunrise Service (2009), (4.) Whittier National Day of Prayer (past 7 years), (5.) Heart of Compassion - Christmas Food Outreach / Mayberry Park (2008) serving over 3,000 families, (6.) Convoy of Hope & Mini-Convoys - serving food to thousands of families in the greater Whittier area, (7.) HERMANO Youth Program, serving dozens of "at risk" teenagers with tutoring, learning center, family counseling, job preparedness, (8.) Door to Door Canvassing, Whittier County News (community newspaper, 15,000 papers distributed throughout the Unincorporated areas of Whittier.) (9.) Patriot's Awards Banquet (5 years), recognizing the "unsung heros" in the Whittier County area. (10.) Christmas Basket Annual Program, (11.) Men's Home(s) Weekly Ministry.

God is using this couple in the Apostolic & Prophetic ministry. Apostle Pacheco is training approximately 30 ministry leaders in the Leadership Bible Institute in the "five-fold ministry" While Deborah has been speaking at Women's Conferences and helping to establish a new Women's home & shelter in the Whittier, CA area.

Both individuals have busy schedules and have been contributing their time and talents to a number of Christ centered activities.
