FCCI Ordination & Licensure Ceremony ~ Whittier, CA

Saturday, November 28, 2009

The First Christian Church International (FCCI) Ordination & Licensure Ceremony was by all accounts an extraordinary event. The "8" Candidates were filled with expectancy, and they participated in the Religious Services; Prayer, Worship, and the "Laying on of Hands" with each person being ordained or licensed under the FCCI covering.

The "Welcome" was given by Dr. Ralph Pacheco, Founder / Apostle & Pastor of FCCI, followed by a powerful opening "Invocation" given by Pastor Joey Alvarado (Praise Chapel) one of the eight candidates. The "Flag Salute" was led by the Hon. Deborah Pacheco, Trustee of the South Whittier School District (and Co-Pastor of FCCI). A beautiful "Scripture Reading" was given by Pastor Pauline Alvarado (Praise Chapel) also a candidate for ordination.

Worship followed, led by Eric & Ana Ramos, (FCCI Worship Ministry), beautifully done and a blessing to all. Dr. Pacheco then acknowledged guests, hosts, sponsors, and assistants, who were responsible for putting the Ceremony together and making it a success. This was followed by a "Special Blessing" by Pastor Deborah Pacheco, a heartfelt blessing to each of the Candidates, their families, and for their devotion to the Ministry.

Dr. Pacheco delivered the "Ordination Message." He spoke of the qualifications of the ministry, and how the, "Love of Christ" should be the driving force behind everyone's service in the ministry.

This was followed by the entire Presbytery present to "lay hands" on each of the Candidates. First two individuals were Min. Rose & Rudy Rosales (FCCI Ministers), next came Pastors Mario Guerra & Albert Guerra (The Way Ministries) affiliating under the FCCI covering, then Pastors Daniel Artechi & Yvonne Artechi (New Church Plant) affiliating under the FCCI covering, last but not least, Pastors Joey & Pauline Alvarado (Praise Chapel) affiliating under the FCCI covering.

The Ceremony was followed by a wonderful Banquet Luncheon, prepared by Pastor Pauline & Joey Alvarado and their ministry. What a wonderful meal and a very successful "Raffle" held during the luncheon, there was fun had by all. (A special thank you was given to Pastor Pauline, with the presentation of a Disney collectable Cinderella Ceramic Bank. Pauline's favorite.)

FCCI is pleased and proud of all the Candidates, and thanks their many friends and family for attending this memorable ceremony.
